The Garden Studios staff are here to make life easier for you – that’s our job. There are quite a few of us: a reception and admin team of four, full time maintenance support, a Business Centre Manager and an IT/Telecoms Manager. Our staff are highly trained – we've had the Investors in People award since 2001.
Martina DuffyMartina is the Business Centre Manager and has been with Garden Studios since 1993. She started off as a receptionist, working her way quickly into the Centre Manager Role and is now a Director. Martina is the life and soul of the centre, always approachable, reliable and fair. Martina takes care of our clients, their queries and requirements. She is the motivation and inspiration of the staff, cultivating an atmosphere for business in a professional but friendly environment.
Kim Britton FCIS Kim is the Managing Director and has been involved with small businesses for many years, having previously run a management accountancy company and lectured on SME courses (legal, financial and administration) at City University and Kingsway College. She is an astute business woman with tremendous foresight into business development and economics. Who better to operate a business that supports SME’s?
John O’DonnellJohn is the Business Development Manager, researching, developing and overseeing the infrastructure of the business; the network, technology, telecommunications and the building itself. Like the business, John has developed his career since 1995 qualifying in CISCO and IT Networking (HNDBit) and completing an MCSE course. John’s tremendous diligence and insight has made him an integral part of the centre’s economic viability and success and he was promoted to Director in 2007.
Laura MussellLaura is the Operations Manager. She has been at Garden Studios since 2001 starting as the Assistant Manager and now deals with a wide variety of essential aspects of the centre. Laura works closely with John in facilities and technology and also with Martina in sales and administration. She has more recently branched out into marketing which is aided by her passion for fine art and photography. We don’t know what we would do without her.
Lisa MurrayLisa is a popular and valuable member of Garden Studios and has been with us since 1998. She runs the reception like clockwork and ensures clients and their visitors are well taken care of in a friendly and professional manner. Lisa also oversees the meeting rooms and assists with administration, project work and organising our regular events and parties. Lisa will always go the extra mile where she can and she loves a good party!
Vicki MorrisVicki is the front desk receptionist/telephonist. She deals with clients, visitors, couriers, telephone calls, meeting room bookings and many other tasks associated with a busy reception. She joined the team in 2007 as a temp but she fitted in so well with the team and was so helpful and personable with the clients that we just couldn't let her go. Always stylish, Vicki has a smile for everyone.
Karolina Protasiewicz Karolina, or Linka as we know her, is the front desk receptionist/telephonist. Like Vicki, she deals with clients, visitors, couriers, telephone calls, meeting room bookings and many other tasks associated with a busy reception. She has also recently taken on more administrative tasks. Linka is level headed and generous, even using her precious holiday time to be involved in youth camps.
Rob LeeRob’s role is to take care of Garden Studios; the building and facilities on a daily basis, as well as client’s specific maintenance needs when required. When a client moves, Rob redecorates the office, often having to turn it around in just a few days before the next client moves in. He also makes sure any contractors go about their tasks efficiently and responsibly. Rob enjoys landscaping and has used his skills to convert a barren roof into a sunny garden terrace for clients to enjoy.
